Trim Levels

You can get the new Jeep Wrangler in a two-door or four-door version. The trim lineup includes the Sport, Sport S, Rubicon, Sahara, High Altitude and Rubicon 392.

The Sport has plenty of basic equipment, including Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay® and a large 12.3-inch touchscreen. It also has skid plates, fog lights, tow hooks and 17-inch wheels.

The Sport S switches to alloy wheels. It adds some more luxury items, including a leather steering wheel. This trim also has air conditioning. There is also the Willys, a close sibling to the Sport S, which has distinctive styling and 33-inch tires.

The Sahara gets full-time four-wheel drive, fender flares and larger wheels. Albertville, AL shoppers are sure to appreciate the addition of heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, and it also has a keyless entry system.

More off-road capability comes with the Rubicon, which has heavy-duty axles and 33-inch all-terrain tires. The Rubicon also has rock rails.

The Rubicon X adds more luxury amenities including leather seats, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and an Alpine sound system.

With the High Altitude comes power-adjustable front seats, a premium sound system, integrated navigation, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

Topping the line is the Rubicon 392, which has Fox shocks, high-performance brakes, a 2-inch suspension lift and an Xtreme 35 package.

Performance

The new Jeep Wrangler family comes with four possible engines. The standard engine is a six-cylinder engine that produces 285 horsepower. You have the option of a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic for the transmission. The Wrangler can also be equipped with a turbo four-cylinder engine with 270 horsepower and an automatic transmission. The Rubicon gets a V8 engine with a power output of 470 horsepower. A plug-in hybrid powertrain is also available for Chattanooga drivers to consider, offering up to 375 horsepower.

Technology and Safety

The Jeep Wrangler is loaded with technology and safety aids. The base model has Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®, along with a 12.3-inch touchscreen. An upgraded driver information system is included with the Sahara trim, which also provides Gadsden drivers with automatic climate control. Integrated navigation and an Alpine premium sound system are additions to the Rubicon X and up.

Driver-assist safety aids in the new Wrangler include rear parking sensors, blind-spot warning and adaptive cruise control.

Design

The Wrangler is built for adventure with either part-time or full-time four-wheel drive. Special features like all-terrain tires, a suspension lift and heavy-duty axles enhance the Wrangler's off-road capability with select trims. The Jeep also has a three-piece hardtop in some models. Luxury features like heated seats and leather seats also add to the Wrangler's appeal for driving in comfort, even over longer distances.
